Introduction
This policy sets out how Hybytes Ltd minimises the environmental impact of our operations, and what we commit to as we grow.
1. Our impact
Hybytes Ltd is committed to minimising the environmental impact of our operations. As a digital business, our footprint is modest, and mainly indirect.
2. What we do
- We select cloud providers with strong renewable energy and carbon reduction commitments
- We operate largely remotely and favour public transport and rail for travel
- We minimise, reuse, and recycle equipment, disposing of electronic waste through WEEE-compliant channels
- We prefer suppliers with credible environmental standards
- We measure and seek to reduce our emissions year on year
3. Public sector work
If we bid for public sector work above the relevant threshold, we will publish a Carbon Reduction Plan aligned to PPN 06/21, including baseline emissions and a net-zero target date, alongside this policy.
4. Review and contract status
Reviewed annually by the directors. This statement does not form part of any contract.
