Project requirements:
At Tjekvik, they were facing some problems related to their application. Their application is expecting more traffic and usage, they need optimized and scaleable infrastructure. They need our help to solve the problem.
What did we do?
Migration: Tjekvik is using Heroku servers that were lagging up with the scalability. We hear about the problem that they were facing issues with high traffic management, Kiosk machines, slower application and scalability. We suggested they migrate from Heroku (which is based on AWS) to AWS infrastructure to achieve their goal.
Monitoring: Monitoring is a core thing for any application, we did make sure that they do have the infrastructure stats, logs and error reports so they could know the upcoming issues in any case.
Terraform: The client has multiple environments to test their new development environment, new features, quality assurance and beta applications. So we made a generic way to make any environment up just by running a terraform script.
Compulsory: We do make sure that we do enable security, load balancing, auto-scaling and monitoring of services.
CI/CD: We did implement CI-CD to make sure the updates are on time without hanging up or losing performance.
Best Practices: We do assure you, Our engineer does follow best practices as guidance as per AWS provided.
Training: Their development team does not have exposure to AWS infrastructure. We do help them to get trained for AWS.
Results
The customer was able to significantly scale up their running servers without performance issues. Platform automation is consisting of AWS infrastructure, enabled security, load balancing and auto-scaling of resources. By implementing CI/CD processes, We ensure that the client will not face any problems when needs to update anything in the application. Monitoring ensures the customer’s team keeps an eye on all things.
